Bangkok To Krakow

8179 Kilometres, 201 Days, 7 Time Zones, 4 years of Musing, 2 Dreamers and a Baby…

Round and round the headers go, where they end, no-one knows!

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever Gods may be
      For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of Circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of Chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Just wanted to pop in and wish you the best of luck!! We are taking off on June 8 as well - to ride our bikes to the ends of the earth. We’re now in the midst of t hose last-minute frenzies trying to get everything done - all our stuff stored and the house prepared for renters. It’s crazy!!

    Have fun!!
